The Joyful Jamboree
Part hockey tournament. Part music festival. Part food truck caravan. It’s The Joyful Jamboree and there’s nothing quite like it! This adult hockey tournament was designed to be a bit different. Think dancing teddy bears, steins of beer, and Chicago dogs piled high with toppings.
Oh yeah, and friendly rivalries (think Tom & Jerry) that have stood the test of time… two whole years and running! Want to join the fun? Pack your best tie-die, but probably best to leave the brass knuckles at home. Because The Joyful Jamboree’s a place to make friends with the other side. In all the ways.
The Joyful Jamboree is an Adult Tournament Series, scheduled for the weekends December 6-8, 2024 and January 24-26, 2025.
The December Joyful Jamboree features a ‘D’ Level Co-Ed Division and a ‘Lower Intermediate’ Women’s Division. The January Joyful Jamboree features a ‘C’ Level Co-Ed Division and a ‘Upper Intermediate’ Women’s Division.
The application window opens on September 15th. Teams may register with a $500 deposit for the Jamboree. Registration will then close October 31st for the December Jamboree and December 15th for the January Jamboree, at which time the remaining balance of $1,500 will be due. Teams that do not pay in full will have a $250 late fee added to their balance. If full balance is not paid within 5 days, teams will forfeit their deposit and their spot in the tournament. Registration is non-refundable. Payment can be made through our online registration system. Each team is guaranteed four games. All players will receive a tournament gift along with the opportunity to purchase Jamboree swag and/or donate to our youth programs.
It’s gonna be far out, man! Don’t miss the Old Schoolhouse Brewery Beer Garden, Mountain Meals & Catering BBQ, and a mini music festival on Saturday nights!! OSB and Mountain Meals will also be set up Friday nights from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Standings will be posted here.
Spectating is FREE, with a suggested donation of $10 to our Youth Hockey program. 100% of donations will go toward youth rental gear and scholarships. Thank you! http://winthroprink.org/donate.
