learn to play hockey
Curious about the game of ice hockey? Maybe you’ve skated a few times, watched an NHL Kraken game or two. Perhaps you’ve hung out in the snow watching the Methow Hockey League and thought: “This would be a lot more fun on the ice.” Well, you’ve got a fever. And there’s only one thing that can cure you. More ice hockey. Sign up for Learn to Play and we’ll take it from there. (Actually, we won’t. You’re gonna work your keister off while the coaches stand around giving you pointers. It’ll feel like being thrown into the deep end with very friendly sharks who promise not to eat you. Yet.)
The details
SESSION #2: January 8 - February 19, 2024
INSTRUCTION LEVEL: Session #2 will begin with a review the Level 1 basic hockey fundamentals from Session #1, and then progress to Level 2 skills.
PRACTICES: Mondays, 6:30 - 7:30 PM
COST: $105 for 7-week session (does not include hockey equipment). Price includes admission to the “Half-Ice Hockey Night” that immediately following Learn to Play.
EQUIPMENT: $95 for second half-season, January 8 - March 10. Gear distribution (when available) will be held on January 4 & 5, 2024.
ELIGIBILITY: Ages 18+ and USA Hockey Membership
REGISTRATION:
Returning players from Session #1: December 18-25, 2023.
First-time registrants: December 26-January 3.
