Guest Services-Lead
Do you love winter, community, and making people smile? The Winthrop Rink is looking for a Guest Services Lead to help keep the magic alive all season long!
This is not your average desk job—you’ll be at the heart of the action, welcoming guests with a friendly face, keeping the front desk team on track, and making sure every visit to the rink is safe, smooth, and unforgettable.
What you’ll do:
Be the go-to leader when a Manager isn’t on-site
Greet guests and set the tone for a great rink experience
Help book parties and rentals (because skating birthdays = the best birthdays)
Keep cash registers and daily reports balanced and tidy
Team up with Zamboni drivers to make smart ice-time calls
Support tournaments, youth programs, and special events
Maintain accurate inventory counts of concession and merchandise items
Assist with cleaning and light maintenance around the rink, locker rooms, and walkways
Pitch in with snow shoveling (yes, winter keeps it interesting!)
Stay calm, cool, and collected when handling accidents or incidents
Job Details:
Seasonal Position: November – March
Hours: Up to 32 hours/week (weekends + holidays required)
Pay: $20–$22/hour DOE
