Founded in 1999, the Winthrop Rink is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community around the joys of outdoor skating and recreation. Located in the heart of the scenic Methow Valley, the Winthrop Rink is the premier outdoor ice skating facility in the Pacific Northwest.

Our multipurpose facility hosts ice sports in the Fall & Winter seasons (hockey, figure skating, open skating) and court sports in the Spring &Summer seasons (ball hockey, pickleball, basketball, arena soccer, roller skating, and others). In addition, our facility is rented for special events such as family reunions, corporate retreats, and concerts.

Youth Hockey Manager

Love working with youth? Love hockey? Love working with youth AND hockey?! Then you could be a candidate for the Winthrop Rink’s all-new Youth Hockey Manager position. The Winthrop Wolverines youth hockey program has grown to the point it needs its own dedicated manager. This fun and exciting seasonal job (August — March) oversees every facet of our youth hockey program, from registration, to player and coach development, to league and tournament management, and more.
