Founded in 1999, the Winthrop Rink is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community around the joys of outdoor skating and recreation. Located in the heart of the scenic Methow Valley, the Winthrop Rink is the premier outdoor ice skating facility in the Pacific Northwest.

Our multipurpose facility hosts ice sports in the Fall & Winter seasons (hockey, figure skating, open skating) and court sports in the Spring &Summer seasons (hockey, pickleball, basketball, futsal, roller skating, and others). In addition, our facility is rented for special events such as family reunions, corporate retreats, and concerts.
