Welcome to another exciting season of Winthrop Wolverines youth hockey. Participating in a Wolverines programs is a terrific way to develop on-ice skills, have fun with friends, and learn to play a lifelong sport. We also believe that playing for the Winthrop Wolverines is an opportunity for kids and youth to develop essential life skills such as team work, accountability, and self discipline. For all youth, ages 5 — 18.
2026/2027 Season Schedule: November 2- February 12
Registration Fee: $225 — $300*
Equipment Rental: $95 — $150*
Gear distribution will be October 7 — 11
USA Hockey Membership: $15 — $85**

Gear Week is happening Oct 6-11th, where we fit players with rental gear. Registrants will receive email sign-up.

Get a USA HOckey Membership
Our youth hockey programs are sanctioned through USA Hockey. All players must obtain a USA Hockey Membership before registering for a hockey program.
Step 2
CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON EZFACILITY
Get started by creating an account for you and each family member at winthroprink.ezfacilty.com. If you already have an account, login to your account.
Step 3
Register for a Program
Login to your account and click "Registration" in the menu on the left, select the program you are looking to register for. Make sure you select which family member is registering for the program.

For players born in calendar years 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.

14U Team
For players born in calendar years 2012 and 2013.

12U Team
For players born in calendar years 2014 and 2015.

10U Team
For players born in calendar years 2016 and 2017.

8U Team
For players born in calendar years 2018 and 2019.

6U Mini Wolverines
For players born in calendar years 2020 and 2021. No skating skills required to join 6U!

Girls Hockey Program
For players born in calendar years 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

No, but you should have skating experience. If not, you should start with Learn to Skate. Except for 6U, where the kids learn to play hockey while learning to skate, all while being well padded with hockey gear.
