Guest Services-Front Desk Staff

Love skating, hot cocoa, and being part of the winter magic? The Winthrop Rink is looking for friendly, reliable Front Desk Staff to welcome guests, hand out skates, and keep the good vibes flowing all season long.

As one of the first faces our visitors meet, you’ll help make sure every trip to the rink is safe, fun, and memorable!

What you’ll do:

• Greet guests with a smile and help them get checked in

• Take payments, make change, and keep the register in order

• Help visitors with skate rentals—buckling, drying, racking (you’ll be a skate pro in no time!)

• Hand out snacks and cocoa from the concession area

• Keep a watchful eye on the ice as a skate guard, making sure everyone follows the Code of Responsibility

• Keep our rink sparkling clean and assist with light maintenance around the rink, locker rooms, and walkways

• Pitch in with snow shoveling (because it’s part of the winter fun!)

• Stay calm and helpful if accidents or incidents arise

Job Details:

• Seasonal Position: November – March

• Hours: Vary week to week (weekends + holidays required)

• Pay: Minimum wage up to $18/hour DOE

• Friendly, approachable, and ready to help

• Enjoy working with people of all ages

• Comfortable on skates (or willing to learn!)

• Responsible, reliable, and able to stay cool under pressure
